For spring, interior designer Kendra Nash is drawn to things that reference the natural world—from leafy motifs to organic materials. The Atherton native, whose namesake firm is based in San Carlos, shares a handful of current favorites.

1. “Karen Imperial of Bryant Street Gallery introduced me to the work of Karl Pilato a couple of years ago. His oil-on-canvas abstracts evoke nature and its vastness while injecting a bit of playfulness into a room."

2. “ParkGate Home is a wonderful resource for furnishings and accessories. Right now, I’m coveting this table by Mr. Brown. It’s composed of rustic gray and white pine woods, handcarved to form a contemporary silhouette.”

3. “Da Vinci Marble is one of my go-tos for its amazing variety of tile styles, as well as the most special slabs. The selection is curated by owner Joe Concilla, who travels all over the world to find the latest and greatest slabs. The new showroom consists of beauties like this Nadja tile, featuring Calacatta marble with brass details."

4. “Comme des Garçons 2 is my perfume of choice for spring. It is the epitome of effortless beauty, as it combines the essence of magnolia, cedar wood, ink and amber. Plus the bottle is so simple yet sophisticated.”

5. “Frette’s Fern pattern, done in a white and silver palette, is a subtle way to bring in the botanical accents that I especially love for the season. And the quality of their linens is second to none.”
