Georgetown links up to Rock Creek Park’s bike paths and the Potomac River’s kayaking and canoeing zones, plus the ’hood holds enough yoga and Barre studios to keep half of DC sweating. So it’s no wonder that two newish fitness lifestyle brands have rolled out outposts here.

Rapha DC Clubhouse
Tucked away on a side street, the spot serves as a hybrid cycling-gear boutique, cafe and meeting spot. Exposed brick walls, a coffee bar and a stock of the London label’s men’s and women’s racing-ready clothing lure in a fit, fearless crew both before and after the group rides the store hosts and organizes. 3210 Grace St. NW

Outdoor Voices
And in a sunny space on M Street, the studio hawks the Austin-based move-it company’s trademark colorful women’s and men’s gear for recreation—think cherry blossom-hued running shorts for her, and wool and nylon T-shirts for him that resist moisture and odors, among other goods. And in a nook at the back of the store, a tiled “rec room” with pink lockers lends out jump ropes and basketballs to customers for free. 3025 M St. NW
